This page features Events that occur according to regular schedules.   Thus, they will remain in place longer than will the items on our basic "Events" page.

February at Paul Henry's will see our current exhibit, "Filters," run until the end of the month.  This is a group show of eight Indiana University Northwest student artists that has been very well received.  If you wish to see the show before it closes, gallery hours are 11AM til 5:30PM, Tuesday through Saturday.

Jam nights fall on the 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd. 5$ cover or $2 off if you perform or bring an item for the Potluck Table.  7PM. 

Jazz Jam is Saturday, February 10, 2PM, $5.

Rumba de la Region is Sunday, February 11, 1PM, $5.

Our annual Chocolate Pie at the Gallery contest is Thursday, February 15, in conjunction with the 373rd Acoustic Jam. The basics are that you bring your pie to be judged and then you must share it with the crowd. No entry fee. Entrants will be comped into the JAM. No store bought pie. Two categories, Baked and Refrigerated. Pies must be submitted no later than 7:30. You may enter as many pies as you wish!  Winners in each category receive a prize and a special prize is awarded to the overall winner.

Southeast Chicago Historical Society Museum

Regularly open on Thursdays, except Christmas,  New Year's Day, and Thanksgiving, the society's museum collections and exhibits focus on the history of Chicago's Southeast Side, including the neighborhoods of East Side, Hegewisch, South Chicago and South Deering.
